Some posts are easy to share.
A funny video, a clever meme, a cute animal doing something ridiculous. We send it to a friend, add an emoji, and move on. It gives us a quick laugh and asks nothing more.
Other posts are different.
A short reflection, a spiritual thought, even one simple sentence can leave something behind. Not necessarily guilt, but a question. A memory. A small discomfort.
Sometimes that is enough to make us scroll past it.
And what more if it is a Bible passage.
A verse can feel heavier because it often comes with a sense of moral weight. Even when it is short, it can sound personal. It can touch something we were not planning to face.
It is also why these posts can be harder to share. Sending a joke feels harmless. Sending something spiritual can feel like handing a friend a thought they did not ask for.
They might even wonder, āWhy did you send this to me?ā
So we hesitate.
Maybe that is why lighter posts travel faster. They are easy to carry.
Some messages entertain us and disappear. Others can disturb us because they touch something personal. And sometimes, the post we scroll past the fastest is simply the one we never really gave a chance, even when it is probably the one we need.
