Welcoming others means accepting that people will not always think, behave, or live the way we expect. Each person comes with different experiences, limitations, and problems that we may not fully understand. Instead of expecting everyone to fit our preferences, we can make room for who they really are. Genuine acceptance begins when we allow people to feel welcome without requiring them to become someone else.

Prayer for Acceptance
God, widen our hearts so we can welcome people as they are. Help us look beyond differences and limitations, and treat everyone with genuine care and respect. Amen.
