The Day Poetry Finds Us

A single line can stay longer than a whole conversation—this is where poetry begins.

World Poetry Day • March 21

For those who’d rather listen.

Some words are not just said, they stay,
They echo soft, then find their way.
Not loud, not forced, not made to show,
But something real you come to know.

No need for lines that try too hard,
No need to play the clever card.
A simple phrase, a quiet tone,
Can say the things you’ve never shown.

It lives in thoughts you almost miss,
In silent doubts, in moments like this.
In words that land and gently stay,
Long after they have slipped away.

A line that feels like it is yours,
A truth that quietly opens doors,
A rhythm soft that flows right through,
Like something deeply close to you.

You do not need a poet’s name,
Or chase applause, or seek out fame.
Just write the truth, however small,
And let it simply be your call.

For poetry is not to impress,
But help the heart to say things best.
And in that line, both clear and free,
You pause—and say, “This sounds like me.”

Echoing Reflections with a Piano and Poem

When night falls, the piano speaks—telling stories of silence, storm, and the dreams we almost forget.

Dusk’s lullaby beneath twilight’s canopy lies
Elegy unveiled memories in disguise

Enigmatic whispers midnight’s veil begotten
Ethereal reverie orchestrates dreams, forgotten

Luminous pathways through echoes of history
Melancholic dreams under starlit mystery

Reflections of nocturnal silence mesmerize
Sharp clamor amidst turbulent rapids’ cries

Solace found within ivory echoes unperturbed
Solitude’s echoes timeless meadows’ disturbed

Twilight’s serenade dances towards horizon’s home
Whispering shadows embrace moonlight’s roam

✒️ This poem is a night journey told through music. As dusk falls and twilight deepens, memories and emotions rise like hidden melodies. The piano becomes more than an instrument—it turns into a voice for silence, sorrow, and hope.

The verses move between contrasts: calm and chaos, shadow and light, solitude and connection. Each note echoes not just sound, but reflections of history, forgotten dreams, and the restless heart.

Twilight’s serenade leads us home, where shadows and moonlight embrace. The piano echoes within both silence and storm—there is beauty waiting to be heard.
