We are faithful when we try to follow Jesus a little each day.
Jesus speaks to us through the Gospel 📖.
When we follow His words, we grow strong inside 🌱.
Being faithful helps us become better each day 💛.

🛐 Prayer to Follow Jesus
Lord, You guide us with Your words. Sorry when we forget to listen. Thank You for teaching us how to live. Please help us stay faithful with loving hearts. Amen.
After years away, he came back to a place that no longer had room for him.
Gonsalvo was born around 1187 in Portugal. He was a Dominican priest.
Gonsalvo was once a trusted parish priest. Later, he left everything to study theology in Paris. After many years, he returned home to Amarante, hoping to serve again. But things had changed. A new priest was already there. The people no longer trusted him. The door was closed.
He did not argue. He did not defend his past. He stepped aside.
Instead, he lived simply. He preached only when permitted. He helped people in practical ways, even working on roads and bridges. No attention. No complaints. Just faithful service and patience.
Over time, people recognized who he truly was. Trust slowly returned. Only later were miracles linked to his life.
Saint Gonsalvo’s life is not about dramatic moments. It is about faithfulness when you are ignored. About doing good even when no one notices.
His message still fits today. Do the work, even Behind Closed Doors. Stay faithful. Let God take care of the timing.
