Jesus did not condemn the person who had sinned, and we are called to follow his example. Instead of holding on to judgement or resentment, we can choose mercy and see people with new eyes. Forgiving and letting go can give others the courage to begin again, while keeping our hearts free from anger and hatred.

Prayer for Mercy
Lord, free our hearts from judgement and resentment. Teach us to forgive, see others with new eyes, and make room for new beginnings. Amen.
