Make Today Better Than Yesterday • Fri.04.24.26

Don’t look back at yesterday’s failures. Today is a clean canvas—paint it with better acts of love.

Growth isn’t about being perfect—it’s about a new beginning every single morning.

By simply deciding “Today I want to live better than yesterday,” we shift our focus toward love.

When we count our small acts of kindness throughout the day, we realize how much beauty we are capable of creating.

Today, we start the morning with a fresh “Yes” and look for small ways to outdo yesterday’s kindness.

✝️ Prayer for a New Start

Lord, thank You for the gift of a new day. Help us to live these hours with more love and more joy than we did yesterday. Amen.

A prayer a day, keeps the soul from drifting away

What Awesomeness Really Means

A lighthearted observance celebrates something simple but powerful: awesomeness.

International Day of Awesomeness • March 10

Kevin Lawver is an American software engineer who later became associated online with the idea of the International Day of Awesomeness.

He’s basically a longtime internet builder. Not a celebrity type, more of a guy behind the scenes making the web work.

The “Awesomeness Day” idea actually started as a joke around 2007. Kevin told friends that his birthday should be called “Awesomeness Day.” The idea spread online, people liked the vibe, and eventually it turned into a small internet holiday.

So the day was not created by a big organization. It simply came from one tech guy having a funny idea that the internet decided to keep.

But the idea behind the day slowly grew beyond the joke.

Awesomeness does not always mean something big or dramatic. Most of the time, it is simple. A person helping someone without expecting credit. A friend showing up when things are difficult. Someone choosing kindness instead of adding more noise to the world.

In that sense, awesomeness is not about fame or attention. It is about the small decisions that quietly make life better for others.

That may be the real meaning behind Awesomeness Day. Not celebrating ourselves—but reminding us that anyone can be awesome in ordinary moments.
