Tenderheart Bear Cares

Tenderheart Bear shows how knowing your heart helps you use it to care for others—just in time for World Heart Day.

The Care Bears are busy playing, but Grumpy Bear suddenly feels weak. At first it seems like his usual mood, but Tenderheart notices the truth: even hearts that feel strong need care.

A Cloud Monster appears, feeding on unhealthy habits—junk food, stress, no rest—making the Bears too sluggish to use their Care Bear Stare. That’s when Tenderheart Bear rallies his friends. Cheer Bear leads an exercise dance. Good Luck Bear brings out fruits and veggies. Bedtime Bear insists on rest. Together, their small choices turn into one powerful Heartlight Beam that clears away the monster.

In the end, Tenderheart says: “When you know your heart, you can use your heart to care for others. That’s the greatest power of all.”

International Ataxia Awareness Day 2025

A day to shine a light on ataxia—raising awareness, spreading kindness, and celebrating strength in every step.

Create. Educate. Celebrate.

September 25 is a day the world pauses to shine a light on ataxia—a neurological disorder that makes walking, speaking, or even swallowing harder because balance and coordination don’t follow the usual rhythm.

This year’s theme, “Create. Educate. Celebrate.”, says a lot in just three words.

Create moments of kindness and connection for those living with ataxia.

Educate yourself and others, because awareness is the first step to understanding.

Celebrate the strength of people and families who keep moving forward despite the challenge.

It’s not about big events alone. Even small gestures—a post, a ribbon, or a conversation—help carry the message: ataxia may disrupt movement, but it can’t stop hope.
