True love asks us to identify with others so deeply that we see the world through their eyes. It’s about “dying to our ego” so we can truly live for our neighbor.
When we forget ourselves and focus on the needs, joys, and burdens of others, we are loving with the very heart of Jesus. We aren’t just observing their lives—we are sharing them.
Today, let’s try to “be” the other person—to listen so deeply that we feel what they feel and need what they need.

✝️ Our Prayer for Empathy
Jesus, teach us to love as You do. Help us to forget our own egos so we can fully identify with and serve our brothers and sisters. Amen.
A prayer a day, keeps the soul from drifting away
