Love for others does not stop at personal kindness. When we truly want their good, our concern can reach beyond our immediate circle and lead us to care about the good of other communities and peoples too. We can let this wider love shape the choices we make today.

Prayer for the Good of Others
Lord, widen our hearts so that we truly desire the good of those around us and of people far beyond our own circle. Guide us toward choices that build peace and lessen suffering. Amen.
