We understand that indifference is the opposite of love. God feels what our neighbor feels—if we turn away from them, we are turning away from Him.
Sometimes love costs us something—our time, our comfort, or our need to be right. But we believe that serving our neighbor is our highest form of worship.
Today, let’s look for someone who is struggling and choose to step in, even if it’s not convenient for us.

Father, soften our hearts. Don’t let us walk past the needs of others. Give us the courage to serve each other, even when it’s hard. Amen.
