Put Charity into Practice • Sat.05.09.26

Love is the currency of heaven. Without it, even our greatest efforts leave us spiritually poor.

We believe that our value isn’t measured by our achievements, but by the charity we put into each moment. Fraternal love isn’t just a “nice to have”—it is our basic commandment.

Everything we do today—from the biggest project to the smallest chore—only carries weight if it is an expression of sincere love for our brothers and sisters.

Today, let’s look at our to-do list not as a set of tasks, but as a series of opportunities to practice charity.

✝️ Our Prayer for Charity

Father, remind us that without love, our work is empty. Teach us to live this day moment by moment, fueling every action with fraternal charity. Amen.

Work for the Common Good • Mon.05.04.26

Service is the way we care for our shared home. When we do it with love, we do it for God.

Every act of service we perform, no matter how small, is a way for us to spread God’s kingdom. When we work for the good of our community, we are working for Christ.

We find it easier to serve when we recognize Jesus hidden in our neighbor—especially in those of us who seem the most overlooked.

Today, let’s do one small act for our community, knowing that what we do for each other, we do for Him.

Based on the Word of Life, October 1982, by Chiara Lubich, Servant of God.

✝️ Our Prayer for Service

Father, help us to see Christ in everyone we meet today. May our work be an offering of love for our common good. Amen.
