God’s will often meets us in the ordinary things already before us, in our duties, our relationships, our responsibilities, and difficult situations we would rather avoid. We can learn to listen for his guidance within us instead of silencing it. Then, when we recognize what is right, we can follow it with courage.

Prayer for Courage to Listen
Father, help us recognize your guidance in the ordinary moments of life. Give us attentive hearts and the courage to follow what is right, especially when it is difficult. Amen.
