Real dialogue begins when we care more about understanding people than impressing them. Listening, asking questions, and making room for another person’s perspective are simple ways of showing love. Conversations do not always need agreement to create connection. Sometimes understanding begins when different voices find a way to share the same harmony.

Heavenly Father, help us approach others with openness and respect. Teach us to listen carefully, speak kindly, and seek understanding so that our conversations may bring people closer together. Amen.
