International Day of Women and Girls in Science β’ February 11
Science moves forward when more people are allowed to take part.
When girls grow up seeing science as something open to them, participation follows. Skills develop. Confidence builds. Work gets done. Little by little, that balance changes who stays, who leads, and what problems get solved.
Closing the gender gap is daily practice. Fair access to learning. Equal chances to try, fail, and improve. Support that continues beyond the classroom and into real work.
As the gap narrows, science becomes stronger. Research reflects more lives. Solutions fit more people. Progress stops being one-sided.
