The Christmas season officially ends on the Baptism of the Lord.
This is where the story shifts. From celebrating Jesus’ birth to the beginning of His public mission. From the manger to the Jordan River. From being born for us to being revealed to the world.
After this feast, the Church moves into Ordinary Time. The celebrations pause. The lights come down. What remains is daily faith. The kind that does not depend on seasons or symbols.
Life works the same way.
After celebration comes responsibility.
After joy comes work.
After receiving comes mission.
A quiet ending.
A strong beginning.
