A good society grows when people learn to use authority responsibly and respond with respect, care, and trust. Even an orchestra struggles when everyone tries to become the conductor.

Lord, help us recognize what is good, true, and life-giving. Teach us to use responsibility wisely and to treat one another with respect, patience, and care. Amen.
