World Oral Health Day • March 20
We don’t think about our mouth most of the time until something feels wrong. Bad breath, tooth pain, sensitive gums. Suddenly, it becomes the center of everything. But when it’s healthy, it stays quiet, and that’s the goal. This is not about perfect teeth. It’s about simple habits that keep things clean, fresh, and working.

Brush like it matters
We brush at least twice a day. Morning gives us a fresh start. Night keeps bacteria from staying while we sleep. We take our time, around two minutes. Gentle works better.
• We use a soft toothbrush
• We replace it every 3 months
• We clean our tongue too

Floss once a day
Our toothbrush cannot reach everything. Food and plaque stay between teeth, and that’s where floss helps us. Once a day is enough. Nighttime works best.

Control bad breath the right way
We do not fix bad breath by covering it. It comes from bacteria, dry mouth, or trapped food.
• We drink more water
• We clean our tongue
• We keep our teeth clean
• We limit sugary snacks

Choose food that helps our teeth
What we eat stays in our mouth longer than we think.
• Fruits like apples
• Vegetables like carrots
• Milk and cheese
• Water
We limit sugary drinks, sticky sweets, and frequent acidic food.

Visit a dentist before there is pain
We do not wait for something to go wrong. A simple check-up can prevent bigger problems. Small issues are easier to fix early.
A healthy mouth does not demand attention. No pain. No smell. No discomfort. Just normal. And that quiet normal matters. A happy mouth supports our whole life.
