Love Those in Need First

Love is at the very heart of the Christian message—and it must be lived. Chiara and her companions began by loving the poor, and through this, they discovered that love cannot stop there. It must reach everyone, without limit or condition.

Heavenly Father, Your love includes all people. Sorry for the times we turn away from those in need. Thank You for showing us that love starts with the poor and spreads to all. Teach us to love as You love. Amen.

Set Generosity in Motion

We can respond to Saint Paul’s appeal by becoming a link in this chain of love and generosity that was initiated with Jesus. Instead of waiting for good to happen, we can be the first to love—sharing time, help, or kindness freely. Each act continues His chain of generosity.

Lord Jesus, You gave everything out of love. Sorry when we hold back what we could share. Thank You for making generosity contagious. Help us give joyfully so others may see Your love alive in us. Amen.
