Acts of Selfless Love • Thu.05.14.26

True love doesn’t keep a tally. It gives simply because it is its nature to give.

Jesus gives us a radical challenge: to love those who don’t love us back. He wants us to model our behavior after the Father, who provides for everyone without bias.

Selfless love means doing good without expecting a “thank you” or a return favor. It is a love that shines like the sun—reaching everyone regardless of whether they “deserve” it or not.

Today, let’s do something kind for someone who can offer us absolutely nothing in return, or even for someone who has been difficult to us.

✝️ Our Prayer for Selfless Love

Father, help us to love without boundaries or conditions. Teach us to be like the sun and the rain, giving our best to everyone we encounter. Amen.

Share What We Do Not Need • Tue.04.14.26

What we can spare may become an answer to someone else’s need.

Sometimes we keep more than we need without thinking twice.

But what feels extra to us may be essential to someone else.

When we share, good things begin to circulate.

Today, we let go of something we can spare and allow it to become help for another person.

Based on the Word of Life, October 2006, by Chiara Lubich, Servant of God.

✝️ Prayer to Share Generously

Lord, free us from holding too tightly to what we have. Teach us to share with trust and generosity. Amen.
