Love grows when we step out of ourselves and take the first step toward others. Serving freely—even when it costs something—opens the heart to God’s presence. In this way, Jesus leads us into a deeper peace, a clearer light, and a joy that lasts.

Everything we are—and everything we can do—is a gift from God. He entrusts these gifts to us not for ourselves, but for the good of others. A Christian heart becomes authentic when it uses every ability as an act of service that builds the community.
