Unity begins wherever we live, study, work, meet, and spend time with others. We can help build it by treating people as brothers and sisters instead of allowing differences to divide us. When we strengthen our relationships and work together, fraternity becomes something people can actually experience.

Father, help us build unity wherever we are. Teach us to treat one another as brothers and sisters and strengthen the relationships within our families and communities. Amen.
