Love is often measured by the little things we choose to do each day. A kind word, a patient reply, a helping hand, or a sincere prayer can quietly overcome anger and resentment. Jesus calls us to answer evil with good because that is how God loves the world. Even a single candle can begin pushing back a room full of darkness.

Lord, teach us to answer hatred with kindness, hurt with forgiveness, and anger with love. Help us become people who quietly bring goodness wherever we go. Amen.
