Most days, we move fast. We notice people, but we don’t really stop.
Someone nearby is hurting, struggling, or feeling unseen. We sense it, but we keep going.
Love often begins by slowing down and standing where the other person stands.
Today, we stop once. We stay long enough to bring comfort, even in a small way.

Lord, slow our pace today. Make us aware of the people we usually rush past. Give us the courage to stop and care when someone needs comfort. Amen.
