The disciples were afraid and thinking about their plans that had failed. But Jesus gave them new hope. He helped them look ahead and build God’s kingdom, trusting only in Him and in the power of His rising.

Lord Jesus, You rose in power. Forgive us when we look back in fear. Thank You for turning our losses into new beginnings. Fill us with hope that looks forward and builds Your kingdom today. Amen.
