True love is shown in action. Not in words, but in humble service to those around us each day.

Love Is Demonstrated Through Actions

โ€œLet us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.โ€ (1 Jn 3:18)

The message is all too clear. It calls us to be authentic Christians as Jesus insisted we should be. And yet isnโ€™t this what the world is waiting for? Isnโ€™t it true that the world today wants to see people who truly give witness to the love of Jesus? Therefore, let us love with deeds, rather than with words, starting with the humble service asked of us every day by those right next to us.

Adults Make It Complicated, Kids Keep It Real

Kids keep it simple, adults make it heavy. Somewhere along the way we trade honesty for masks, trust for fear, and truth for pride. Maybe growing up isnโ€™t about getting harderโ€”but about keeping alive that kid inside, simple and real.

Kids are simple. What they feel is what they show. Sad? They cry. Happy? They laugh. No masks, no acting.

Adults? Complicated. They hide what they feel. They act strong when theyโ€™re weak. They say โ€œIโ€™m fineโ€ when theyโ€™re not. Life gets heavy with too many layers.

Kids trust. They believe without overthinking. They hold your hand and feel safe. Adults doubt. They want proof, logic, control. Fear wins over trust.

Kids learn fast. They listen, they ask, they try. Adults say, โ€œI know already.โ€ They close their ears. They build walls.

Maybe thatโ€™s why life feels harder when we grow up. We trade truth for image, trust for pride, openness for fear.

Kids donโ€™t chase power. Theyโ€™re not worried about being the best. They just play, share, laugh, and move on. Adults keep scoreโ€”whoโ€™s richer, smarter, stronger. Who wins, who loses. Thatโ€™s where the weight begins.

The highest kind of life isnโ€™t about climbing up. Itโ€™s about going low. Being small enough to listen. Humble enough to say sorry. Real enough to love without conditions.

Maybe growing up shouldnโ€™t mean growing harder. Maybe it means keeping alive that kid insideโ€”simple, trusting, and real.
