True authority is rooted in obedience. We learn to command well by first knowing how to obey.

Overcome Stubbornness

A perfect crusader means a perfect child, a perfect citizen, a perfect worker, a perfect student, a perfect monk, a perfect member of any society. If your position is that of being a subject, your duty is to obey. If you are in a position of authority, be a perfect parent, a perfect governor, a perfect employer, a perfect teacher, a perfect religious superior and a perfect manager. Remember, you will know how to command well when you are in a position of authority, depending on how well you know how to obey when you are a subject.

Lord Jesus, You taught us that true authority begins with obedience. Forgive us when pride makes us resist guidance or reject correction. Thank You for showing us humility in Your own life. Help us to obey with love and lead with responsibility, just as You did. Amen.

Nauunawaan ng ating mga kabataan at sinimulan na nila ang iba’t ibang inisyatiba na nagpapahayag ng personal at kolektibong kamalayang ekolohikal sa maraming aspeto. Nagsisimula sa maliliit na lokal na suliranin nabubuo ang isang moral na konsensiya na kayang harapin ang mga suliranin sa pandaigdigang saklaw. Sa huli, ang ekolohiya ay isang hamon na mahaharap lamang sa pamamagitan ng pagbabago ng kaisipan at paghubog ng mga budhi.

Take Care of the Environment

Our young people have understood and have already undertaken various initiatives which express a personal and collective ecological awareness under many aspects. It is by beginning with the small local problems that a moral conscience is formed capable of facing problems on a worldwide scale. In the final analysis, ecology represents a challenge which can be met only by changing mentalities and forming consciences.
