Based on the Protoevangelium of James and Church Tradition
Long ago, there was a couple, Joachim and Anne. They had no children, and it made them very sad. One day, an angel appeared to Anne and said:
βDonβt be sad. God has heard your prayer. You will have a daughter, and the world will know her.β
In time, Anne gave birth to a baby girl. They named her Mary, and their home was filled with joy. When she was still young, her parents brought her to the Temple, offering her fully to God. From then on, she lived close to Him, prepared for the mission only she could carry.
Blessed Birthday, Mama Mary! π

π Note: This story is not in the Bible. It comes from a blend of:
1. Protoevangelium of James (c. 150 AD) β early Christian writing on Maryβs parents and childhood.
2. Sacred Tradition β the Churchβs teaching handed down through the centuries.
3. Liturgical Calendar β her birthday celebrated on September 8, nine months after the Immaculate Conception.

The Birth of Mary
The Bible does not mention the birth of Mary, but early Christian writings and Church tradition tell the story of Joachim and Anne, who were blessed with a daughter after years of prayer. The Church later set her birthday on September 8, nine months after the feast of the Immaculate Conception.
