Underplayground

Unggi discovers a hidden playground under a tree—but learns that magic fades when it’s not cared for. What he finds instead lasts longer.

One quiet afternoon, Unggi found a strange little door under an old tree.

It wasn’t like any door he’d seen before—it was round, rusty, and covered in vines, as if it had been hiding there for years.

He touched it. Creeaak!
It opened.

Carefully, he stepped inside and saw a spiral staircase going down, down, down into the ground.

He took a deep breath… and went in.

Beneath the Ground, he found something amazing—a secret playground!

There were glowing slides, soft swings, and tunnels filled with twinkling lights. In one of the Calm Corners, he lay down and looked up. The ceiling sparkled like stars.

He smiled.

There, his thoughts floated like balloons. Deep Dreams danced in his mind—stories, games, adventures he’d never tried before.

“It’s perfect!” Unggi said. “And it’s all mine!”

Every day, he came back. He ran, he laughed, and he played.

But after a while, Unggi stopped being careful.

He threw candy wrappers on the ground.
He drew silly faces on the glowing walls.
He even wee-weed in the river water by a dark tunnel—Hidden Rivers flowing under the playground.

“Hehe, no one will know,” he said, giggling.

But things started to change.

The soft echoes faded.
The swings didn’t swing as high.
And the lights… got a little dimmer.

Then one day, Unggi came back, ready to play—but the strange little door was gone.

He looked behind the tree.
He checked the ground.
Nothing.

He sat under the tree, hugging his knees.

“I thought it would last forever,” he whispered.

He looked around. The place was quiet. Still.

He thought about everything he had done.

Then he stood up, brushed off the dirt, and said, “Next time I find something special… I’ll take good care of it.”

And from that day on, Unggi started picking up trash when he played.
He shared his toys.
He listened when someone said, “Please don’t.”

He even planted a tiny seed by the tree—something to remind him that Growing Roots takes time.

And when he looked at the winding path home, he smiled again.

Because even if the door was gone, he had found something else—a new kind of trail.

A Found Path to becoming better.

He never found the secret playground again…

But he found something better—how to be kind, how to take care of things, and how to make every place he played in… a little bit magical.

The End.
