Every walk of life, every vocation, every locality, every activity – even the most menial – presents itself to us as an area to which we can commit all our effort to live in mutual love. Our family, our work environment, our profession, our social or political activities, issues about peace, justice and the defence of life, etc. are all opportunities offered to us to serve Jesus in our neighbor.

Lord Jesus, You came to serve and not to be served. Forgive us when we live only for ourselves. Thank You for giving us countless ways to love in daily life. Make our work, our families, and our struggles an offering of service to You in others. Amen.

A Right That Belongs to Everyone

Universal Access to Information means every person has the right to seek, receive, and share knowledge. It’s not a favor from those in power—it’s a human right.

When information is open, democracy works because leaders can be held accountable. Justice moves because truth is visible. Development grows because farmers, workers, and students can make smarter choices. And in daily life, whether it’s about health, safety, or the environment, access to the right data can literally save lives.

This right matters because it levels the field. It turns silence into voice, confusion into clarity, and secrecy into trust. Without it, people are left in the dark. With it, everyone has a chance to shape the future.
