Lord, Your mercy raises the fallen. We adore Your faithfulness. We regret the harshness that discourages others. Thank You for second chances. Use our words and actions to awaken courage and new beginnings. Amen.

Perseverance encourages others to endure and follow Christ with courage and faith.

Encourage

Those who persevere encourage others to go all the way to the end. I spoke to you about the saints and about Mary. Note that they are people who have drawn crowds to follow them, leading them to God. And over the centuries, they have continued to attract people with the example of their perseverance and with the light radiating from the love that made them patiently endure all things. Let us aim high. We have only one life and it is short. Let’s firmly resolve that day by day we will face one difficulty after another to follow Christ…

Lord Jesus, You give us strength through perseverance. Forgive us for giving up when trials come. Thank You for the saints and Mary who inspire us with their example. Help us to encourage one another to endure faithfully and to aim high in following You. Amen.
