With our eyes fixed on Jesus crucified and forsaken, we can overcome discouragement and the weakening of our will and we will always have the courage to start again on our journey, even after stopping or falling. So, let us run ahead with perseverance, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus crucified and forsaken.

Lord Jesus, You never abandon us when we fall. Forgive us for the times we lost courage and gave in to weakness. Thank You for Your cross that gives us strength. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on You and start again each day with perseverance. Amen.
