Love is not only the basis of the Christian life. It is also the most direct way to enter into communion with God. When we help those in need, our faith deepens and our union with Him grows stronger. Love is the bridge that joins us to God and to one another.

Lord, You draw us close through love. Sorry for the times we ignore the needs around us. Thank You for letting us meet You in others. Help us live real communion by loving as You do. Amen.
