Appreciate the Gift of Others
Each one of us has received a particular gift. These gifts are all different from one another, precisely because the needs of the community are many and varied. If we want to contribute to the good of the community, we cannot simply act on our own. (…) We need to harmonize our activities and gifts with those of others. That is why Saint Paul—after enumerating the various charisms—says that they all need to be animated and bound together by mutual love. Love will help us set aside all feelings of envy, ambition, competition, rivalry and personalizing one’s gift.

✝️ Prayer to Appreciate the Gift of Others
Heavenly Father, You give each of us unique gifts for the good of the community. Forgive us when envy or rivalry blinds us to Your plan. Thank You for the diversity of gifts that reflect Your love. Help us to live in mutual love so that our gifts may build unity in Christ. Amen.
